Ostbevern, April 7, 2022 <\/strong>\u2013 Truly electrifying design: The FRIWO LEV500 lithium-ion charger has received the prestigious Red Dot Award 2022. The competition is among the world\u2019s largest in the field of design, and the Red Dot label has established itself internationally as one of the most sought-after seals of quality. \u201cWe are delighted that our efforts to create good design have been recognized,\u201d says Rolf Schwirz, CEO of FRIWO. \u201cThis accolade proves how successful FRIWO is at combining modern electronics with attractive aesthetics.\u201d<\/p>\n

Awarding the prize in the product design category, the judges praised the unique, industrially robust and compact shape of the LEV500. And the device not only looks good \u2013 its inner qualities are naturally just as impressive: Extremely quick charging times, low weight, and maximum user-friendliness make this innovative FRIWO product a winning proposition. In addition, the charger is able to communicate with battery management systems through data exchange between control units, which allows charging processes to be tailored to individual requirements.<\/p>\n

The product has an IP65 protection rating, meaning that it is dustproof and protected against water jets from any angle. The LEV500 is very quiet and has extremely energy-efficient charging technology with minimal standby losses. It is ideal for light electric vehicles and can be adapted to meet individual customer specifications. The charger therefore has a wide range of possible uses, from E-Scooters, E-Bikes and wheelchairs, as well as battery-powered lawnmowers and golf trolleys, through to forklift trucks used in logistics.<\/p>\n
